What's it like studying with Jan?
"Jan has provided a true gift to our family. Our now 10 year old son started lessons with Jan 3 years ago. Jan is warm, welcoming, and an obvious master of her skill. She holds our child accountable to his weekly goals in a kind yet firm manner. More importantly, she listens to what he is interested in and fosters his exploration of music. Our boy is fascinated by the Beatles, so Jan found an entry level song for him to add to his routine piano book songs. It was a stretch and a challenge that she supported, and our son was so proud to work hard towards the end goal. "Blackbird" is now the soundtrack to our family home. Thanks to Jan, our house is filled with music and joy."
