Learn to play, learn to perform!
Students of all ages and abilities are invited (but not required) to perform in the annual Jan Nichols-Franz Piano Studio Spring Recital each May. This event provides an opportunity for burgeoning piano players to show off everything they've learned over the previous year whether they perform a complex sonata or Mary Had a Little Lamb. Some students will play with various accompaniments including drum machines, bass, guitar, trumpet, and voice. Others will perform duets, or play and sing orignal compositions. Performing for an audience helps students build confidence in their musicianship, celebrate their accomplishments, and motivate them to continue learning in the years to come.
Jan offers affordable 30, 45 and 60 minute lessons for students ages 6 to adult!
Each Spring, Jan hosts an afternoon recital for all students, beginning to advanced, so they can show off what they've learned.
